Retina was asked where she got her name. She responded that she wanted to have a name that corresponded to a body part so she chose Retina but pronounces it "ree tee na". This little story characterizes the humor and wit of this remarkable young lady. She was professional in every respect but had so much enthusiasm that it was contagious. Her knowledge of her country and ability to describe it was excellent. We have remained in touch through e-mail as Retina has her own computer and is quite computer literate.
