Our tour drove through the beautiful countryside on our way from Krakow to Budapest.  The vegetation was lush and green and the terrain rolling.  We stopped for lunch only as the trip took only a few hours.

Separated from the Czech Republic in 199?, Slovakia has had a difficult time economically.
