My first squadron out of flight school in 1955. And what an assignment it was. Hawaii, the "Red Devil" fighter squadron (VMF-232), and the North American FJ-2 Fury. It was a single seat fighter and the hottest aircraft going. All this along with being a bachelor and owning a Jaguar XK120. You couldn't beat it!!
